Joyce Pellmann Baptism Testimony

In June 2017, I led a team from my local revival group, Isaac’s Wells, to the Frankfurt New Age Convention.  Amongst the many precious souls our team led to Jesus (we harvested 25), Joyce Pellmann was one of them. My ministry partner, Phyllis, spotted an African lady wandering towards our Isaac’s Wells’s booth and thought to herself, what is an African woman doing here, when there is enough witchcraft back in Africa!  Phyllis immediately caught hold of her and started talking to this woman, originally from South Africa, but now living in Frankfurt.  At that very moment, I heard from the Holy Spirit regarding this woman. I told her upfront I had a message from God for her and that we would like to pray for her, and invited her to come into our booth. I told her pointedly that she has never been happy since she came to Germany and that her heart has been broken into many pieces.  But that God wants to heal her and change all that, she only needed to come to Jesus.  She started crying, told us that she was at the lowest point in her life. She was filled with fear and panic attacks regarding everything that was going wrong in her life. She was feeling lost for the longest time. She gave her life to Jesus that day at the Convention booth.

Few weeks later, Joyce shared her testimony on how, in the midst of her misery, she found a flyer on the New Age Convention and knew she had to get there.  Unbeknownst to her, Joyce was led by God to our booth.  She also shared how she had a dream a few weeks after the Convention, where she saw herself shot at the side of her body. She panicked and thought she was dying. She asked the Lord what that meant.  Instead, He confirmed the word I gave her … that her heart was broken into a thousand pieces, but on the day she met us, her heart has been set free.  She no longer needs to fear.

Joyce was baptized at my church on September 24, 2017.  Her whole family came to witness this joyous occasion.  They haven’t stepped into any church in a long time.

I tear up every single time I recall how the Lord connected us, it’s a divine encounter.  It is an honor to be used by the Lord to go into the enemy’s camp and rescue souls — to set the captives free just like He said in Isaiah 61:1.

Here’s a short clip of her baptism at my church Freie Christen Gemeinde 2 Sundays ago. She was wearing a T-shirt that says ‘new beginning’.

Isaiah 61:1

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound…
